The two singles are lightly twisted together to produce an aran weight yarn. A soft merino and linen blend yarn with texture and a gentle tweedy haze.
The natural linen gives the yarn a textured finish with subtle drape and produces a rustic, almost hand spun look when knitted up. When dyed with acid dyes, the linen resists the dye and remains white, producing a halo of linen fibres.
It is ideal for jumpers, cowls and shawls.
