A soft fingering superwash Merino (100%) with 4 ply construction from various mulesing-free farms. Hand dyed in the Netherlands with professional dyes. Fingering weight 425 m / 100 gram. Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles. Recommended Needle Size: 2 - 4mm.

 What does Upcycled Mean?

The upcycled merino comes from excess wool that is left over in the mill, this gets collected together and spun into yarn so that it is all used up resulting in zero wastage. It has no effect on the quality and softness of the yarn and results in a sustainable use of materials.

The WeStYarn Upcycled Merino has extrafine merino wool that makes this yarn soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. The 4 plies and twist provide extra robustness. Beautiful versatile yarn suitable for hats, cowls, shawls and garments. If you want more skeins or other colorways please contact me.

Dyed in an environmentally friendly manner with acid dyes, carefully washed in unscented wool wash and sent in skeins unless otherwise requested. I recommend hand wash to best preserve color.
