WeStYarn hand dyed Merino Singles & Merino Silky Singles

A soft single ply 100% superwash Merino yarn in fingering weight from mulesing-free farms. And a soft and more shiny single ply Merino-Silk yarn. Hand dyed in the Netherlands with professional dyes. One skein is 100 gram and has 366 meter (Merino Singles) or 400 meter (Merino Silky Singles). Recommend needle size: 2.0 mm - 4.0 mm depending on the fabric you require for your project. Gauge: 3.25 mm - 28 sts & 40 rows

The merino (21.5 micron) comes from various sources (Argentina, Uruguay and Europe - not Australia), and none of the merino fibres are to come from farms practising mulesing. The merino is therefore mulesing free. The wool is superwashed treated in Europe according to the highest Oeko-Tex standard.

Merino Singles has extrafine merino wool that makes this yarn luxuriously with a beautiful drape! Very soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. A very natural choice since this yarn has no added nylon! Beautiful yarn suitable for lightweight garments, cowls and shawls. Washable in cold water and preferably hand wash and laying flat to dry.

Dyed in an environmentally friendly manner with acid dyes, carefully washed in unscented wool wash and sent in skeins unless otherwise requested.
