WeStYarn MCN - Merino, Cashmere and Nylon
This thicker Fingering weight yarn of 80% Superwash Merino 10% Cashmere 10% Nylon Yarn is absolute stunning. The Merino is extrafine (19.5 micron) merino, a luxury fibre with an exeptionally soft handle. It is selected from longer staple fibres (around 3.5 inches/85mm, which is long for merino fibre) to reduce pilling. And the Cashmere is a supersoft, plump yarn with next to the skin softness. A little nylon gives the yarn some durability. Perfect for luxurious jumpers, socks, gloves and shawls.
The ethical sourcing of this Australian merino fibre is from farms where high standards of animal welfare are required and animal husbandry practices ensure the basic physiological and behavioural needs of the sheep are met and farms are inspected (so no mulesing!).
This (superwash) MCN is a soft fingering weight yarn, hand dyed in the Netherlands with professional dyes. Thick fingering weight 350 m / 100 gram. Beautiful versatile yarn suitable for hats, cowls, shawls and garments. If you want more skeins or other colorways please contact me.
Dyed in an environmentally friendly manner with acid dyes, carefully washed in unscented wool wash and sent in skeins unless otherwise requested. I try to design my dye schedule in such a manner that I can re-use dye baths several times per session and lower my environmental impact.
This yarn is dyed upon order (except for a few available showcase skeins, stock numbers shown on the product pages). Every colorway in my shop is applicable - please contact me.
The listing is for 1 skein of yarn (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise). Photo's of multiple skeins shows the comparison between skeins and/or yarn bases.
Colors may slightly vary on every device. I photograph the yarn with natural light.
